Applicant Tracking Systems

The dreaded Applicant Tracking System (ATS). An ATS is a system that companies use to streamline their recruitment process, which is utilised to scan through applications and determine which candidate will be proceeding through the next phase of recruitment. The system is managed by the organisation, where they input data relating to their perfect candidate, and it scans the resumes for those specifications.

If you wonder whether your application has passed the ATS, a tell-tale is the automated email response that your application has not been successful, which is usually 1-2 days after you have submitted your application. This is one reason why we always inform our clients to follow up on their applications.

Though Resume Helper does not guarantee that the document will pass the ATS 100% of the time, as nothing in life is guaranteed and the fact that no-one knows precisely what an organisation has inputted into their ATS, we do use various practices and tools to increase your chance of passing the system. In addition to having years of recruitment experience, we also scan the documents we prepare for you through our own ATS program, ensure we highlight as many possible keywords and provide you with insights so you can be aware of anything alarming.

If you want to check your resume and how it stacks up to the ATS, send us an email with your resume at info@resumehelper.biz
